Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes. Rodz~N~Dogs Doggy Day Care and Dog Boarding is fully insured with specialist insurers. Our insurance covers public liability; day care, custody, control and transportation of your dog and boarding.
Q: Are you licensed?
A: Yes. Rodz~N~Dogs Day Care and Boarding is fully licensed and inspected by Herefordshire Council. We offer professional dog care services you can trust.
Q: Can I meet Rod and see the facilities before sending my dog?
A: Yes. Absolutely. We recommend you do this! Come and see the place in action. Meet Rod and ask questions, see exactly where your dog will spend their day, who they’ll be with, and what they’ll be doing.
Q: What happens if my dog doesn’t get on with another dog?
A: At Rodz~N~Dogs we only ever have a maximum of 10 dogs in our day care setting. We vet each dog before accepting them and make sure all of our dogs are happy in one another’s company. It’s unlikely your dog will not get on with another dog. In fact, our dogs usually form their own social groups with dogs at the Day Care Centre who enjoy similar activities!
Q: Do you only accept well-trained dogs?
A: No. One of the reasons people choose Rodz~N~Dogs Day Care is that our Day Care often helps with training. Many owners have noticed improvement in their dog’s behavior after attending and we only accept social dogs that have no history of aggression.
Q: Will my dog be supervised always?
A: Yes. Your dog will be under constant supervision by Rod an experienced dog handler and qualified canine first aider. Your dog will NEVER be left unattended.
Q: What happens when it rains or is too cold for my dog to be outside?
A: At Rodz~N~Dogs our buildings are heated and we also have our conservatory where dogs can come and go as they please when the weather isn’t great. Your dog will have a choice of comfy dog beds if they would like to escape the weather or have a snooze.
Q: I have a puppy or small dog, can they come to the Day Care Centre?
A: Yes. Our day care service is the perfect environment for your puppy to grow and socialise. We accept puppies from as young as 11 weeks old or once they are out of their vaccination period.
Q: Do I need to book in the same days each week?
A: No but we do ask you to commit to one day each week. This is because we only ever take a maximum of 10 dogs who are regulars and matched to our other dogs.
Q: Do you offer day care on the weekends and bank holidays?
A: Our normal operating hours are Monday-Friday. However, upon request, we do offer weekend and bank holidays too.
